How to use…
At Amelia’s Angels, we want to provide as many resources, support services and information on navigating the world through your journey. We want to make sure allies also have resources to hand to support those they love and care for. We also understand there is a lot going on at the moment, something even we at Amelia’s Angels feel, so we also provide information on support services for you to contact, should you need to.
Remember, you are not alone.
This page is a gateway to other parts of the site, including letter templates for general letter writing to your MP, for special campaigns on an immediate concern dominating the news. We provide information about contacting and speaking to your MP.
We provide carefully researched information on outside resources and pages to help you whether that be volunteering, mental health services, trans and wider LGBTQ+ support services and helplines.
This is a growing page so please come back regularly.
Your voice matters. Our community, along with our allies can bring change, if we work together.

Meeting Your MP
Arranging to meet your MP
MP Surgeries: Our Parliamentary system means our MPs have a duty to respond to correspondence from constituents and to conduct in-person surgeries for their voters to air issues. These are called ‘surgeries’. Information about these can be found on your MPs website, or at your local library as an example. You can also find more helpful information on all the ways you can meet your MP here.
Mass Lobbying Events: Another way to meet your MP, and to do it with the support of others, is to take part in a ‘mass lobbying’ event. This is when a large group of people meet their MP on the same day to bring mass awareness to an issue. These are usually organised by charities or lobby groups. In June 2025, Trans Solidarity Alliance arranged one such event to protest recent interim guidance by the EHRC after the UK Supreme Court decision in early 2025.

Everything we do: life coaching, support, advocacy etc, is offered free. A few kind people have asked how they can support us; so this is a way to do that if you’d like to. What we’re building here will need funding down the line. We’re immensely grateful for your support. Ami & Dillon.
